Review: practically unnoticeable speed scoop

When it concerns litter boxes, cleanliness really is next to godliness. Cats are fastidious creatures, and being forced to use a dirty litter box is, at best, unpleasant for them, and at worst, will cause them to eliminate outside the box. At a minimum, boxes ought to be scooped twice a day, and even much more frequently if you’re home.

I’m a big believer in “the best tool for the best job,” especially when it concerns something you do multiple times a day. I was fascinated when the makers of Anti-Icky-Poo, (a product I consider one of the best, if not the best, stain and odor remover on the market) and of practically unnoticeable cat Litter asked me to review their new practically unnoticeable speed Scoop.

This generously sized stainless steel scoop holds a large amount of clumps, but allows the remaining litter to flow through the tines.

Putting the practically unnoticeable speed scoop to the test

I couldn’t believe just how easy this scoop made clean up. I’m used to a “scoop and shake” motion with the scoop I was using, and it took me a few tries with the practically unnoticeable speed scoop to realize that there was practically no need to shake the scoop to get all the loose litter to fall through the tines. It ended up being much more of a “scoop and dump” motion, which, of course, made clean up much faster.

We use clay litter, and I was amazed with how well the scoop works when it concerns scraping the occasional caked up mess from the sides or bottom of the litter box – yet another time saver.

The aptly named practically unnoticeable speed scoop comes with a five year unconditional replacement warrant, which tells me that this scoop is going to last a very long time, even with heavy use.

Sounds and looks outstanding although mixed reviews in your comments column, I typically manage to scoop used and not used litter at the same time – which makes life challenging – and expensive…… worth looking out for though.

I wasn’t a fan of that deal with myself. I ended up getting a neoprene covering used for hot pan handles to make it useable.. and still we reach for other scoopers

It’s fairly expensive for a litter scooper, and the spacing of the tines may be a little too broad for small clumps of silica litter. I already have the Durascoop, and it’s OK, but I’ve gone back to my durable plastic scooper.

This is a copy of Its The scoop by K-Kat which we use at my rescue and they are awesome (and less expensive). I wouldn’t use anything else!

The practically unnoticeable speed scoop is not a copy. It is being co-branded with all required permissions.

Little things like this can make life a whole lot much more enjoyable when we have three well used litterboxes to clean daily. I’ll look for this item.

An interesting re-branding of the It’s The Scoop. how did you like the handle? The deal with was my most significant grievance about it. Also, have you used the Litter Lifter? how did you think it compared?
